ISPS Code Compliance

Price per yacht GBP 3500 plus disbursements at cost for:

 

  • Security Assessment, which usually takes most of one day and can be undertaken at any build or operating stage.
  • Security Plan preparation and inclusion in a Security Manual containing all relevant associated material.
  • Submission for Approval to Flag State and any amendments requested by Flag until the Plan is Approved.

(Excludes any Flag State fees for approval or verification)

 

Security Manuals

 

All relevant documentation is included in a Security Manual containing:

 

  • Shipboard Security Assessment (SSA)
  • Shipboard Security Plan (SSP) and “sanitised” Inspection Copy of SSP for Port Officials.
  • Drawing of security arrangements
  • Records of training, maintenance, defects, reports, declarations, reports.
  • Flag State Security Regulations and Notices
  • Manufacturers Instructions

Security Manuals will be a standard presentation and content in the company house style, with laminated gloss indexes and file dividers etc.

 

Company Supply

 

The company will need to supply a Safety Plan or GA.

 

Audit

 

Independent audit at intervals as required. (This is not compulsory but the ISPS Code requires audit and some Companies prefer an external viewpoint).

 

Each audit and report would be charged at

1 day audit + 1 day report + 1 day travel.

Total = 3 days at GBP750 = GBP 2250

 

Terms & Conditions

 

  • Invoiced in GBP plus UK VAT if applicable and reasonable disbursements at cost.
  • First Invoice (75%) after the Assessment and Plan preparation plus disbursements to date.
  • Final Invoice after Plan Approval plus any further disbursements.
  • Terms 14 days

Ratification process.

 

The Security Plan must be submitted to Flag Administration for Approval.

 

Following Approval of the Plan the yacht must operate for a period prior to the Verification Survey.

 

Flag surveyors carry out the Verification Survey. The Verification will look for a minimum of 2 months records (UK & CISR) or 30 days plus an internal audit (IOM).

 

At Verification the CSO and SSO will need to have completed their training.

 

SSO and CSO Training 

 

It is strongly recommended that any training courses are MCA Approved, requiring a 4 day course for the CSO and 3 days for the SSO.
